Alexander Lehman

Next Generation, Leader, Problem Solver

On the Wrightsville Borough Council, Alex Lehman will represent the next generation. He’ll help forge an understanding about what is needed to attract and keep young families in Wrightsville. This is a top priority for growth in the forthcoming Multi-Municipal  Comprehensive Plan.  Alex, a new father, will enable the Council to see things in a different way - which is the way of the young family. A natural outcome of his efforts will be a better connected and lively Wrightsville community.

Leader:  Alex has lived in Wrightsville for five years and has been part of the Eastern York community his entire life. His degree in Specialized Business for Computer Systems from York Technical Institute paved the way for Alex to work in the IT field, which he finds challenging and rewarding. He is the  leader of technical teams comprising of people from all over Pennsylvania with varied expertise. He brings  them together to create solutions to complex problems.

Problem Solver: Alex has many skills to offer Wrightsville but most important is his ability to lead collaborative teams for a successful outcome. This skillset is essential for effective operation of local government.  As part of his leadership and IT training, Alex developed great listening skills. His approach to creative and collaborative problem-solving is based on listening to correctly identify and define issues or problems. Finally, he assembles  the right team members and resources for the best result.

Goals: Alex is enthusiastic about serving Wrightsville as a member of Council where he’ll focus on:

  • Improving streets and sidewalks
  • Supporting small businesses in preparation for and during the bridge closing
  • Supporting implementation of the new Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan

He envisions an enhanced Wrightsville which will benefit from future growth – all while maintaining the Borough’s small-town feel enjoyed by visitors, young families and established residents alike.
