Eric J. White

Ambassador, Planner, and Manager

Eric is known as the Ambassador for Wrightsville. Eric represents our Borough at meetings and outings with all levels of government. He “stops and opts for photo ops” and maintains relationships with those who help Wrightsville get grants and funding.

Most recently, these grants include those for Waterfront Park’s forthcoming ADA ramp to launch equipment designed to assist the handicapped so they can enjoy the Susquehanna River recreation. Also, a half a million for the Mifflin House project, a historic stop on the Underground Railroad and site of the battle of Wrightsville during the Civil War. The Mifflin House is planned to become the visitor gateway and headquarters for the Susquehanna National Heritage Area.

So, what does it really take to win $6,800,000 in grants?

Vision: While Eric is supporting current projects such as the Memorial Day festivities, the July 4th Fireworks and the ongoing improvements to Riverfront Park. His vigilance and determination will help make our vision a reality.

Relationship Management: Eric has long-term relationships with state officials and agencies who award major grants. These relationships are the foundation upon which successful projects are built. Eric relies on his partners to help ideas become realities.

Managing Active Projects: Eric brings together the right people for project success. He is experienced working with civil engineers on Wrightsville’s behalf. Currently, he works with York-based C.S. Davidson, Inc., who helps develop project designs and assists with grant applications.

He leads the Wrightsville team for the 2025 Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan and is our representative for the PennDot Bridge Rehabilitation.
